The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced preliminary results in its antidumping duty (AD) administrative review of steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Mexico.
The review covers imports shipped between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024.
The DOC preliminarily determined that the Deacero Group, consisting of Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V. and I.N.G.E.T.E.K.N.O.S. Estructurales, sold products in the US market at less than fair value.
The company was assigned a preliminary dumping margin of 8.45%.
Meanwhile, the review was rescinded for several other Mexican producers after no reviewable entries were found during the period.
