The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has issued preliminary results of its antidumping review on stainless steel bar imports from India.
The review covers the period between February 1, 2024 and January 31, 2025.
The DOC found that the Venus Group, consisting of multiple affiliated Indian producers, sold subject merchandise at less than fair value and applied adverse facts available (AFA).
As a result, the group was assigned a preliminary dumping margin of 30.92%.
Meanwhile:
- Laxcon Steels Private Limited received a 0.00% margin
- Five non-examined companies were assigned a 15.46% rate
