Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has confirmed the extension of antidumping duties (AD) on cold rolled stainless steel imports from China and South Korea following the final results of the sunset reviews. These duties, initially imposed to counter dumping practices, will remain in effect for another five years, until March 17, 2030.
The MOEA concluded that if the antidumping duties were lifted, the risk of dumping would either continue or reoccur. As a result, the antidumping duties have been set at 38.11% for Chinese exporters and 37.65% for South Korean exporters.
The products affected primarily include stainless steel from the SUS 300 series, which encompasses grades such as SUS301, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, and 321. These products fall under the following HS codes: 7219329011, 7219329012, 7219329019, 7219339011, 7219339012, 7219339019, 7219349011, 7219349012, 7219349019, 7219359011, 7219359012, 7219359019, 7220209011, 7220209012, and 7220209019.
