India’s Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has made its first move into retail sales of stainless steel rebars, launching a trial initiative in the northern state of Punjab.
The new product line, branded “Jindal Infinity”, is aimed at bringing advanced construction-grade stainless steel solutions directly to end consumers.
According to the company, the rebars are designed for use in:
- Coastal infrastructure projects
- Metro rail developments
- Bridges and highways
- Residential and commercial real estate
JSL said the stainless steel rebars offer:
- High corrosion resistance
- Improved durability in chloride-heavy environments
- Higher tensile strength
- Stronger seismic performance and energy absorption
The products are manufactured using billets from the company’s Hisar plant in Haryana and processed into rebars at its Ghaziabad facility.
The launch marks a strategic step for JSL as it expands into value-added retail construction materials.
