Vietnam-Italy Steel, a subsidiary of Japan’s Kyoei Steel Group, has successfully commissioned a new high-speed rebar rolling mill in Hai Phong, Vietnam, marking a major step in expanding its production capacity.
The mill was developed in partnership with Italian plantmaker Danieli, known globally for its advanced steel processing technologies.
Capacity and Product Range
The newly installed facility is capable of producing up to 500,000 metric tons per year of high-quality rebar, with diameters ranging from 10 mm to 51 mm. This significantly boosts the company’s ability to serve domestic and regional construction markets.
