In January - April 2025, Ukrainian ferroalloy companies exported approximately 38.96 thousand tons of products, a significant increase compared to 1.14 thousand tons in the same period in 2024, when export shipments nearly halted due to prolonged downtime of key enterprises.
The largest consumers during this period were Algeria (10.34 thousand tons), Poland (12.14 thousand tons), Turkey (8.27 thousand tons), and Italy (3.93 thousand tons). In April, exports increased by 32.6% compared to the previous month, reaching 11.28 thousand tons—the highest since August 2024.
Export revenue in January-April 2025 rose to $42.66 million, up from $3.67 million a year earlier. However, challenges such as high electricity costs and supply stability continue to pose concerns for the industry.
