The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has released the preliminary results of its latest administrative review concerning antidumping (AD) duties on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate (CTL plate) imported from Italy.
The DOC determined that, between May 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024, certain Italian producers sold CTL plate in the U.S. at less than fair value. The preliminary dumping margins are:
-
3.52% for NLMK Verona S.p.A
-
5.51% for Metinvest Trametal S.p.A. and Ferriera Valsider S.p.A.
The DOC also rescinded the review for F.A.R. Fonderie Acciaerie S.p.A and Officine Technosider s.r.l., as there were no suspended entries of the subject merchandise from these companies during the review period.
The final results of the review are expected to be announced within 120 days of the preliminary publication.
