The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has issued the preliminary results of its administrative review concerning antidumping duties on large diameter (LD) welded pipe imports from Turkey for the review period May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024.

The DOC has preliminarily determined a zero dumping margin for two Turkish producers:

  • HDM Çelik Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

  • Emek Boru Makine Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

According to the DOC, these companies did not sell subject merchandise at less than normal value during the review period.

Additionally, the DOC has rescinded the review for seven other companies, as they had no shipments of large diameter welded pipe to the U.S. during the timeframe in question.

The final results of this review are expected to be issued within 120 days of the publication of these preliminary findings.

This development may influence future import trends and trade relations in the steel pipe sector between the U.S. and Turkey.
