Metinvest Group is investing $44 million in solar and gas-fired power generation projects, aiming to supply 50% of its own power by 2030. This initiative is part of the company's strategy to enhance energy independence and reduce electricity costs.
The investment will be directed towards the construction of gas-fired power plants at Central Iron Ore and Northern Iron Ore, as well as a solar power plant at Zaporizhstal. These projects are expected to bolster Metinvest's energy security and contribute to environmental sustainability.
