The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced it will maintain antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on circular welded austenitic stainless pressure pipe (WSPP) from China, following final results from its sunset reviews.

The DOC concluded that revoking the AD and CVD orders would likely result in the continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury to the US industry.

The dumping margins remain at 10.53% for Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals Co., Ltd. and 55.21% for other Chinese producers. As for subsidies, Froch Enterprise Co. Ltd. faces a 106.85% rate, while Winner Stainless Steel Tube Co. Ltd. and other exporters are subject to a 1.47% rate.

The affected products fall under HTSUS codes: 7306.40.5005, 7306.40.5040, 7306.40.5062, 7306.40.5064, and 7306.40.5085.

The continuation of these orders takes effect on May 21, 2025, reinforcing the US government's stance on protecting domestic manufacturers from unfair trade practices.
