Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMZ), part of DCH Steel, successfully completed a rolling campaign in April-May 2025, producing over 9.2 thousand tons of steel products at Rolling Shop No. 2. The plant now plans to initiate a new campaign in June, targeting production volumes between 9,000 to 10,000 tons.
The recent campaign, which started on April 25 and concluded ahead of schedule on May 7, included the rolling of various channel sizes and a 125 angle. Notably, it marked the first commercial rolling of channel No. 22 from a cast billet, a technology developed over a year.
Preparations for the June campaign are underway, focusing on equipment inspections and calibrations for channels No. 24 and No. 30. Additionally, the company has restored wagon scales No. 5, enhancing logistics by facilitating billet imports through Kaidatska station at reduced costs.
