US to Maintain Antidumping Duties on Stainless Steel Pressure Pipe from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced it will continue antidumping (AD) duties on welded stainless steel pressure pipe (WSSPP) from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, following the final results of a sunset review.

The DOC determined that revoking the AD orders would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping, posing a threat to the US domestic industry.

The weighted-average dumping margins range from 16.25% to 167.11%, depending on the country and exporter involved.

The affected products are classified under HTSUS subheadings 7306.40.5005, 7306.40.5040, 7306.40.5062, 7306.40.5064, and 7306.40.5085.

The continuation of these trade measures takes effect on May 21, 2025, as part of the U.S. government's ongoing efforts to protect domestic manufacturers from unfair pricing practices in global markets.
