Turkey will maintain its antidumping (AD) duties on imports of certain steel tubes and hollow sections from China and Taiwan, following the conclusion of a sunset review, the Ministry of Commerce announced in a statement published in the Official Gazette.

The review found that revoking the AD duties would likely lead to continued or renewed dumping of the affected products. As a result, existing duties will remain in place on imports classified under the tariff codes 7306.40.20.90.00, 7306.40.80.90.00, and 7306.61.10.00.00.

Dumping margins, calculated as a percentage of CIF-based prices, are as follows:

  • 13.82% for China’s Foshan Vinmay Stainless Steel Co. Ltd.

  • 20.50% for Foshan Nanhai Qiuxun Stainless Steel Product Co. Ltd. and other Chinese exporters

  • 7.98% for Taiwan’s YC Inox Co. Ltd. and Froch Enterprise Co. Ltd.

  • 11.50% for all other Taiwanese producers

The decision underscores Turkey’s continued efforts to protect its domestic steel industry from unfairly priced imports that could harm local manufacturers.
