The European Commission has officially imposed definitive antidumping (AD) duties on imports of certain tube and pipe fittings from South Korea, Malaysia, and Russia, following the conclusion of an expiry review covering the period from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024.

The Commission determined that the imports from these three countries were sold at unfairly low prices and that ending the existing duties would likely lead to a recurrence of dumping, harming EU producers.

Definitive Antidumping Duty Rates:

  • South Korea:

    • 32.4% for TK Corporation

    • 44.0% for all other South Korean exporters

  • Malaysia:

    • 59.2% for Anggerik Laksana

    • 49.9% for Pantech Steel Industries

    • 75.0% for all other Malaysian companies

  • Russia:

    • 23.8% for all Russian exporters

These products are classified under a range of EU Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers, including but not limited to:
7307 93 11 91, 7307 93 11 93, 7307 93 11 94, 7307 93 11 95, 7307 93 11 99, and several under 7307 99 80.

The decision aims to protect the EU manufacturing sector from injury due to continued dumping practices and ensure fair competition in the European market.
