Canada’s Border Services Agency (CBSA) has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation into imports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from Mexico, the Philippines, Turkey, South Korea, and the United States.

The probe follows a complaint filed by EVRAZ Inc. NA Canada and Welded Tube of Canada Corporation. Companies under investigation include Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Turkey), Hyundai Steel Company (South Korea), and Tenaris S.A. (US).

The CBSA will assess whether these imports are being dumped and aims to issue a preliminary decision within 90 days. Provisional duties may be applied if evidence supports dumping claims.

In a previous investigation, Borusan and Hyundai Steel received dumping margins under 2% (de minimis), exempting them from antidumping measures at that time.
